The 59th FIA Formula One World Championship season started Sunday, the 16th March 2008 and will come to an end on the 2nd November after eighteen Grand Prix races. This year sees the launch of two new circuits: The Valencia Street Circuit and the Singapore Street Circuit.

The Race Schedule is as follows:

Race 1 - Australian GP - March 16

Race 2 - Malaysia GP - March 23

Race 3 - Bahrain GP - April 6

Race 4 - Spanish GP - April 27

Race 5 - Turkish GP - May 11

Race 6 - Monaco GP - May 25

Race 7 - Canadian GP - June 8

Race 8 - French GP - June 22

Race 9 - British GP - July 6

Race 10 - German GP - July 20

Race 11 - Hungarian GP - August 3

Race 12 - European GP - August 24

Race 13 - Belgian GP - September 7

Race 14 - Italian GP - September 14

Race 15 - Singapore GP - September 28

Race 16 - Japanese GP - October 12

Race 17 - Chinese GP - October 19

Race 18 - Brazilian GP - November 2

The last season of grand prix were heavily dominated by three drivers. Kimi Raikkonen won the drivers championships with 110 points, only one point ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. All these drivers and some more are possibilities this year for the title.
