Following Valentino Rossi's remarkable victory at Assen, Holland in the previous Championship race, the next GP at the Sachsenring circuit in Germany is being eagerly anticipated by Moto GP fans around the world. The Italian started at 11th on the grid in Assen, but amazingly went on to win the race, closing the gap on current Championship leader, Casey Stoner. $ time Moto GP champion Rossi is likely to be a hot favourite to win this race as he has a good record of podium finishes in Germany, however he faces stiff competition from American Casey Stoner and Spain's Dani Pedrosa.
