Manchester United have dominated the Premier League since its formation in 1992 under Alex Ferguson and have won nine Premiership titles in 15 years, coupled with FA Cup and League Cup success and European glory.
United play at their 76,000 capacity stadium, Old Trafford which has seen an endless list of footballing legends pass through its doors including England World Cup legend Bobby Charlton, George Best, Roy Keane and Eric Cantona. The explosive Frenchman Cantona forged his legendary status at Old Trafford by winning four Premier League titles and two FA Cups during his five year spell at the club, including the clubs first championship win for 26 years in 1993.
The Red Devil's current squad hosts a wealth of English and International stars including Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo. With United undertaking a vast summer spending spree, including the signings of England international Owen Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani they look set to launch an assualt on the Premier League and Europe again.
