Everton FC
Everton have a colourful and illustrious history and are currently the longest serving club in the top-flight and look to have a bright future with young manager David Moyes at the helm.
Moyes has enjoyed a successful start to his managerial career and has guided Everton to the heights of Europe in recent years. Moyes' most impressive season to date saw them finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League at the end of the 2004/05 campaign despite a long relegation battle the season before.
The Toffee's academy discovered a gem in Wayne Rooney but have prospered despite his departure in the summer of 2004, Moyes having made some shrewd signings such as James McFadden and Tim Cahill. Cahill has been a revelation on Merseyside since joining from Millwall with the midfield dynamo scoring 12 league goals in his first season at Goodison Park.
Having finished sixth and qualified for the UEFA Cup at the end of the 2006/07 season, Moyes will be looking for his side to prosper in the competition and maintain the fine reputation he has built as Everton manager.
