Bolton Wanderers FC

Bolton Wanderers are one of the Premier League's success stories having established themselves as a top-ten club with an impressive squad of players.

Bolton's current success is a far-cry from their league position in the old second division when the Premier League was formed in 1992. Promotion that year saw Bolton take their place in what is now the Championship and they yo-yo'd between here and the Premier League until they were promoted again in 2000/01 and have since remained in the top-flight.

Sam Allardyce's policy of bringing in proven international talent at bargain prices, including the likes of Ivan Campo and the skillful Jay-Jay Okacha. Allardyce resigned towards the end of the 2006/07 season with Sammy Lee taking charge.

Lee faces a tough task following in the footsteps of Allardyce although having finished 7th in the 2006/07 season, The Trotters will be taking part in the UEFA Cup once more.
