Michael Paul Vaughan is a right handed batsman who also posses a mean right hand off spin bowl.
Vaughan has played for Yorkshire from 1993 to date and is currently the Captain of England after he replaced Nasser Hussein in 2003. He became England's one day captain but after winning two trophies in a month and then after Hussien's shock early retirement, he became the obvious choice to lead the country in the test series as well.
Vaughan's achievements against Australia in a 4-1 losing Ashes side earned him a Man of the Series Award and three centuries. He also captained England to a 3-0 win over the West Indies in a the test which had not happened since 1968.
