William Hill Chief to Leave

David Harding, who has been the chief executive of William Hill for the past seven years, is to step down at the end of the year.

He is to give up his £5.4 million of shares and receive in the region of £600,000 from his personal shareholding as well as money from a long term incentive plan.

In total, Mr. Harding is set to receive £2.2 million.

Mr. Harding has not released the exact reason for his departure although he did say that it was for 'personal reasons.'

A spokesperson for William Hill said that Mr. Harding was considering his options and looking for a new challenge.
