RotoPlay Files Suit Against Sportingbet

Online fantasy game company, RotoPlay Inc, are to file a lawsuit against online gambling group Sportingbet over an alleged infringement of copyright unfair competition.

The case is in relation to 2 of RotoPlay’s Football and Basebal Lottery games, as they have claimed that Sportingbet simply copied them, but are offering them on their sites as original games.

The President of Pennsylvania based Rotoplay, Korey Gardner, has had this to say; "Sportingbet copied all of our lottery games, unique scoring system, game rules, HTML code and tie-breaker information verbatim. It’s very shocking and disappointing to see a billion-dollar, publicly-traded company such as Sportingbet so blatantly and wilfully steal our games. What is most puzzling to us is that Sportingbet decided to steal the games even after talking with us for months about licensing our games and using them legally."
