Freddie Returns
6th Aug 2007Lancashire's Andrew Flintoff has been named in the England Squad for the 7 match one-day series against India. The all-rounder has had 3 operations on his troubled ankle and is currently making a successful comeback for his county.
Flintoff's inclusion in the squad is one of three changes, as Liam Plunkett, Michael Yardy and Jonathon Trott have all been dropped. They have made way for the returning Flintoff and Ravi Bopara has also been welcomed back. The third place will be occupied by Hampshire paceman Chris Tremlett who has been a 'breath of fresh air' for England in the two test matches against India, taking 3-11 off of 8 overs in the 2nd innings of the second test.
