Four set for Twenty20 finals

Sussex, Lancashire and Kent joined Gloucestershire in the Twenty20 finals day, to be played at Egdbaston on the 4th of August.

Kent, who's game was postponed from Tuesday to Wednesday due to a waterlogged pitch, beat Nottinghamshire with one ball remaining at Trent Bridge.

Nottinghamshire posted a score of 138 all-out from their 20 over innings with Kent going one run better with 9 wickets in-hand. Kent responded with openers Denly and Key scoring 63 (not out) and 54 respectively. van Jaarsveld replaced Key, scoring 18 from 15 balls to seal the victory.

Kent are enjoying their best run in the the tournament to date with Wednesday's win securing their first appearance at the finals day.

Sussex and Lancashire posted big scores to ensure their place at Edgbaston.

Sussex scored 193-5 from their 20 overs and comfortably bowled Yorkshire out for 155. Warwickshire came closers, falling short of Lancasire's total of 193 by six runs.
