Fantasy Football Scammers?
2nd Mar 2007You would think that the NFL, being one of the biggest betting draws in the worls, would have fought tooth and nail to protect its loyal fans and their love for betting on the game.
In fact is seems that quite the opposite is true, with the National Football League in fact hiring lobbyist Marty Gold to help pass the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act last year.
However, all is not as it seems and in a convenient loophole, the Fantasy Football League was still allowed. Conveniently, the NFL runs its own fantasy football site and gets royalties from others. So by eliminating the competition of other betting sites, looks like they now have the monopoly.
