England sail through qualifier against Estonia

England sailed through their qualifier match for Euro 2008 against Estonia on 6th June 2007.

The match, played in Tallinn was won by the England side 3-0.

The pressure surrounding Steve McClaren has also eased off a little following their victory.

The first goal was scored by Joe Cole, 36 minutes into the game. Crouch's flick towards the coal was smartly volleyed into the back of the net by Cole.

The second scorer was Crouch. He headed in Beckhams superb cross.

David Beckham then set up the third goal for Michael Owen in the 61st minute.

The win by te England squad was very professional and the team demostrated a toetherness not seen in a long time.

The squad will now play Russia and Croatia later this year.

Michael Owen was thrilled with his goal following a long absence from the game with his knee injury.

Beckhams return to the England team following his being dropped from the squad was marred when he limped off to a standing ovation by fans, with an ankle injury.

The evening was only ruined when Crouch was booked which means he wont be able to play in the qualifier at Wenbley against Israel in September.
