Damon Hill backs Lewis for the World Champion Title

Former Champion of the Formula One Grand Prix Championships, Damon Hill has backed wonderboy Lewis Hamilton to win the title this season.

With seven races under his belt and 7 podium finishes, including 2 wins, it seems there is nothing to stop him from going all the way.

He is already 10 points ahead of teammate and reigning champion Fernando Alonso in the drivers championship.

Hill spoke of how Hamilton does "everything right" when driving - he just has a natural ability which leaves everyone else eating his dust.

Not everything is rosy in the McLaren camp though as twice world champion Alonso has complained of the special treatment given to Hamilton and how his maiden win in Montreal was luck. Not sure what he made of his second win in the US though!!!

Unfortunately Hamilton has not put a foot wrong, so the tempestuous Latino has not got a lot of ammunition to use against his team mate.

The British Grand Prix scheduled for July 8th will be a sell out event as thousands of Brits scramble to watch Hamilton try and win on his home circuit.
