Zola To Stay At West Ham

29th March, 2010

Sky Bet’s odds have changed after the news that Gianfranco Zola has decided to stay on as manager of West Ham. The online bookmaker has cut Zola’s odds from 5/6 to 2/5 to stay until the end of the season.

The West Ham manager has been under a huge amount of pressure from the club’s fans to quit after suffering their sixth defeat last weekend and sky bet are offering odds of 7/4 that he’ll leave Upton Park before the season finishes.

West Ham is currently just one place above the relegation zone on goal difference and are priced at 6/5 to be relegated this season. The team will be travelling to Goodison Park to play Everton and are 6/1 to win, ½ for an Everton win and 3/1 for the draw.

Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “If Hull can take anything at all from their game in hand then West Ham’s relegation fate will be out of their own hands.”
