X Factor: why stop at the winners?

Why stop at predicting the winner of X Factor? Most people seem to have an opinion on who they think will win and who they think will crash out of the competition this week, so let's make things interesting, why not put your money where your mouth is?
Here are some other side bets that you might find interesting, and some are even short term so if you are right in your predictions you won't have to wait long to collect your winnings!

Our thoughts:
putting money on the fact that either Daniel or Rachel will go out seems like a safe bet.
Cheryl certainly has the strongest group, Dannii only has a chance of winning if Ruth goes further, but given that she's been in the bottom two twice seems to imply her fan base is not huge. Simon and Louis only have one act each but both are strong. I would put money on Cheryl to win but if her acts suddenly go out I'd back Simon rather than Louis- he has far more sway and again, Eoghan has the whole of Ireland cheering him on.
As for Laura White being reinstated, I remain sceptical- the show is fair, the rules are clear- people have to vote if they want their favourite to be kept in- take nothing for granted.
