After yet another weekend ending with a shocking elimination, it seems that judges and fans alike are beginning to lose faith in the reality TV show X Factor.

After Jamie Archers exit on the show on Sunday, he has admitted that he feels depressed and demoralised after experiencing that the show was not right for him. He went on to say, “It was really demoralising for me because it made me feel like “is it me? Am I being difficult?” no one knows what to do with me, especially Simon.”

There has been thousands of fans who have called the show complaining about the judges lack of...well...judging! For the last four weeks the judges have backed out of making a decision and allowed it to go to public vote, but it seems that there is no point in having judges if it is going to go to the public every week. In addition, each time it goes to the public, it is resulting in the wrong singer being eliminated from the competition.

There have been rumours that Simon Cowell will fire a judge before next year’s series begins after the increase in complaints the show has received. After accepting a surge of calls, Cowell admitted that the audience had ‘a very good point’.

Danni Minogue was next in line to defend herself after she sent the decision to the public vote, she explained, “It went to deadlock because of everyone else’s choice. I really didn’t want it to go to deadlock. All I can do is make a decision on who sang the best on the night, and I really thought it was Jamie. It was not like when Simon was indifferent about both so didn’t feel it was fair for him to make the decision.”

According to bookies next week’s show will see Lloyd Daniels finally be evicted, having spent the majority of his time at the live finals in the bottom two it looks as though this weekend is his time to go and he is backed at 8/11 with Stan James to get the boot. John and Edward look as though they could be in with a chance of survival yet again, providing they put on a good performance, and are priced at 15/8 to go.

Bookies are still backing Olly Murs as favourite offering 9/4 with Boylesports that he is crowned the winner of X Factor 2009. Second favourite is Stacey Solomon who is best priced with Ladbrokes at 11/4.
