X-Factor betting odds
26th November, 2009
All X-Factor fans are eagerly awaiting this weekend’s dose of the reality TV show after John and Edward were eliminated last weekend with the competition quickly drawing to a close. It seems that bookies, judges and fans have breathed a sigh of relief as now the show can judge the contestants that actually seem as though they could hold the ‘X-Factor’.
There was a lot of hype about the twins, positive and negative, with rumours that led to conspiracy theories and accusations that Simon Cowell wanted to secure the twins as they were making him an excessive amount of money, whilst others believed that the judge actually detested the duo and remained outraged that they had made it this far in the competition. Both ways, fans will tune in this week and it seems inevitable that many will have a part of them that will miss the twin’s antics, but the show must go on!
Lloyd Daniels is adored by the majority of the public but this admiration may not be enough to keep him in the contest as his voice has begun to strain as the pressure in the competition as increased. It is no surprise to punters that Lloyd Daniels is backed as an outsider and is priced at 33/1 with Blue Square to win the show, with third favourite Danyl Johnson priced at much shorter odds of 6/1.
With this series of X-Factor relying heavily on ‘deadlock’ it is important to look at those contestants that have managed to steer clear of this throughout the competition. Both Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon are the two which have sustained outstanding performances and wowed the judges week after week which would explain why the pair is favourite to win the show.
Joe currently looks set to steal the title priced at 6/4 with Blue Square whilst Stacey is backed at 5/2 second favourite.
