X-Factor betting odds for the over 25’s category

5th October, 2009

This weekend provided us with yet another double bill of the X-Factor and left the judges with some very tough decisions! Whilst fans of the show do not seem too pleased with some of the decisions made, it was good to see that the judges and those that they had to help them, were able to come to a quick decision in hope that they have the winner of X-Factor 2009 in their category.

From the performances yesterday, Simon Cowell’s category, the over 25’s, seems to be the hardest competition and it is his category, that looks most likely to hold the raw talent of the next contestant to be crowned the winner of X Factor 2009!

Danyl Johnson, Jamie Archer and Olly Murs got through to the live shows and it looks as though it is going to be very close competition this year! Danyl Johnson has wowed the judges and audience alike with his quirky and astonishing performances and because of this, bookies have made him second favourite to win the entire show, priced at 9/2 with Totesport. This therefore makes him most likely to survive the longest, with Jamie Archer second favourite and Olly Murs third favourite of the group.

Jamie Archer put his heart and soul into is performance yesterday and Simon was taken aback by his efforts, putting him through to the live shows and bookies appear to be just as impressed with Coral backing him at 13/2. The other contender to make up the three was Olly Murs and it looks as though he has his work cut out if he wants to compete with Jamie Archer and Danyl Johnson! Totesport are backing the singer at 9/1.
