Vinnie Jones set to win Big Brother

8th January, 2010

We are now approaching the end of the first week of Celebrity Big Brother 2010 and with a relatively calm week the bookies have found it difficult to predict the odds ahead of the first eviction.

Despite Big Brothers best efforts, there has been very little drama in the house so far and whilst the public await the first explosion, the bookies are left in a panicked frenzy.

Vinnie Jones entered the house leading the Big Brother betting odds market but once inside, Jonas Erik Altberg aka Basshunter stole the lead from him. However, after a few more days getting to know our celebs it seems as though the punters are flooding in bets on Vinnie once again and Ladbrokes have put Vinnie Jones at 9/4 from 11/4. Second favourite is now Basshunter backed at 3/1 from 11/4.

A spokesman from Ladbrokes explained, “Vinnie has once more stamped his authority on the betting. He will take some stopping now.”

Alex Reid, Ekaterina Ivanova and Stephen Baldwin are all share the longest odds of 25/1 with Nicola Tappenden just ahead in the betting at 20/1.
