Tuesday’s Carling Cup Football
Man City v Tottenham – k/o 19:45pm
Both Man City and Tottenham have already met one premiership team each on their way to the quarter-final of this years League Cup. City edged past Bolton and Tottenham disposed of Middlesbrough. Tottenham go into the game with a slight advantage after their 2-1 victory against City only 9 days ago. They are also on their best winning streak of two games. City will be looking to secure their tenth home win and continue their 100% home record. The bookies have taken City’s home form into account and have them as the favourites.
Blackburn v Arsenal – Live on Sky Sports 1, k/o 20:00pm
Arsenal came through a battling victory against rivals Chelsea in the Super Sunday Showdown to retain top spot in the league. They were boosted by the return of several key players who will be raring to go in the cup on Tuesday night. Van Persie looked a treat when he came on against Chelsea at the weekend and will be looking to get as many minutes as he can to get back to full fitness and so looks good value with BGbet at 5/1 first goalscorer. Blackburn go into the game with their worst run in the league this season. With only one win in seven Hughes’ men will be looking to get back on track with a win. Blackburn held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw earlier in the season and will be hoping to better that result.
BGbet are offering to refund all losing first goalscorer bets on Blackburn v Arsenal game if Eduardo scores at anytime in this match.
