Tiger Woods Masters Online Betting Odds

8th April, 2010

Sky Bet has more than 50 online betting markets for the 2010 Masters tournament in Augusta.

The online sportsbook is going to pay five places each way in the outright market and make Tiger Woods as their favourite ahead of the first major of the golf season. Due to recent scandal in Woods’ private life he has taken five months out of the sport and is now back and bidding for a fifth green jacket and is pursuing Jack Nicklaus’ 18 major titles record.

Woods’ rather confident performance earlier this week in front of the media has sparked frenzy in the online betting world forcing his odds down to 4/1. However they have since lengthened odds to 11/2 to win the tournament.

The world no1 is 6/1 to win the masters by 1 to 3 shots and 4/7 to beat fellow countryman Phil Mickelson.

Sky bet has a host of Tiger Woods specials available for example; he is backed at 15/2 that he’ll get off to a bad start by hitting his tee shot on the first into the bunker. Odds are available at 13/8 that he’ll find the rough and 4/6 that he’ll find the fair way.

For the first two rounds, Woods has been paired with Matt Kuchar and KJ Choi. The bookmakers makes Woods 8/11 to win his 36 hole 3 ball with Choi and Kuchar both with 11/4 chances.

For England to have a victory with Lee Westwood the price is 16/1, Paul Casey is 25/1 and Ian Poulter is 30/1. An English winner is 15/2.
