The Premiership is looking more competitive than ever this season as Liverpool went top of the table after beating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Hull continued their unbelievable start to the season by beating fellow Premiership newcomers West Brom 3-0 at the Hawthorns.
The biggest news of the weekend, however didn't involve a on the field event, instead it was the sacking of Juande Ramos from Tottenham on Saturday night. Harry Redknapp is the new man in charge after leaving Portsmouth and began his new role in good fashion, beating Bolton at the Lane 2-0.
It was Spurs first victory of the season and will give the player some confidence before their crunch game against Arsenal on Wednesday. Newcastle play West Brom and boss Joe Kinnear will be hoping to pick up his first 3 points of his reign. United host West Ham, Liverpool face Portsmouth and Chelsea travel north to Hull.
