The latest online betting odds for Formula 1

10th September, 2009

This year’s motor racing has had its ups and downs and saw Jenson Button stride to the top with several consecutive wins before rival drivers begun sharpening up and taking the lead in many races. It seems that despite Button becoming a legend in Formula 1, it is his rival team mate Lewis Hamilton, who had a very poor start to the year, that is getting the bookies votes to win the Italian Grand Prix and can be backed at 9/2 with Totesport and is backed at evens to finish on the podium and 4/1 to win pole position with SkyBet.

Despite being heavily challenged by other drivers in previous races, Jenson Button remains favourite to take the F1 Drivers Championship title and can be backed at 4/6 with Bet 365 but his odds to win the Italian Grand Prix are as long as 12/1 with Sportingbet whilst being backed at a shorter 3/1 to finish on the podium.

Button and Hamilton seem to be holding their own challenge but Vettel could be a quiet contender and if they are not careful could surprise everyone and creep up on them. Sebastien Vettel is second favourite to win the Italian Grand Prix backed at 5/1 with Coral. He is also posing a threat to Button stealing the title of the F1 Drivers Championship being backed at 5/1 with Boylesports.
