The latest X-Factor UK online betting odds
20th October, 2009
X Factor filled yet another of our weekends with talent and laughter as millions of viewers tuned in to watch another instalment of the progress of pop princes and princesses.
Bookmakers have managed to get themselves into a bit of a state over the last few weeks as they can’t quite decide on who is going to win and this week adds yet more confusion to their price predictions.
It seems that before the weekend, singer Danyl Johnson was favourite to win the show, and whilst some bookies are pricing him as joint favourite, some have re priced him putting him behind this week’s favourite Joe Mcelderry. Judge Cheryl Cole was extremely proud of Joe’s performance this weekend and it seems that rival judge Simon Cowell was so impressed that he fears that his chances of winning the show are quickly narrowing. Simon explained that the singer was ‘note perfect’, so it looks as though Simon has his work cut out and it is essential that he ensures that he gives Danyl Johnson the right music to sing and projects the perfect image to ensure that the public favour him.
Competition is rapidly increasing, with Joe Mcelderry’s odds once as long as 12/1, but now as short as 4/1 to be crowned the winner of X Factor 2009 with Blue Square. Bet365 are backing both Joe Mcelderry and Danyl Johnson as joint favourite, priced at 7/2. Although Danyl Johnson has found himself a strong competitor, it can safely be said that he is in with a very big chance of doing well this year and bookmakers Stan James are offering the best price of 5/1 for him to be the winner of X Factor 2009.
