Football
While the 4th round of the Tennents Scottish Cup gets underway this weekend, it's back to League action in England and Wales. Scottish Premier strugglers Gretna face a difficult task away to Morton but with the home team languishing in the lower reaches of Division 1 they can earn a replay. Hibs and Inverness sit alongside each other in the Premier League table and this looks another tie likely to need a second match. South of the border Liverpool travel to Middlesbro for a game they can't afford to lose if their faint dreams of the title are to continue. The home team have a habit of raising their game against the big sides and, after last week's Cup victory, will be feeling confident and can increase the pressure on Rafa Benitez by sending the visitors away empty handed. Everton's luck has deserted them recently and they face a very tricky game against resurgent Man City at Goodison Park. The Toffees will be without several key players because of the African Cup Of Nations and they may well have to settle for a share of the points. On Sunday Bolton can beat Blackburn, who's form has dipped alarmingly recently, in the Lancashire derby while Portsmouth can continue their excellent away record this season at struggling Sunderland.
Hawaii plan

The PGA Tour continues in Hawaii this week with the Sony Open at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. With Tiger Woods once again missing, this is wide open and looks the sort of tournament to have two or three players on your side. Our hope for last week's Mercedes-Benz Championship, Zach Johnson, would have gone close but for a poor opening round. He is worth sticking with in the hope he gets off to a better start. Charles Howell III and Jerry Kelley are also worth including in a staking plan. Howell played well to finish eighth in last week's Mercedes-Benz while Kelly, who finished fifth in last year's Masters, looks very good value at the available 66-1.
