It seems that it is possible to recover as Liverpool are familiar with this situation and have been in it before and boss Rafael Benitez has faith in the team explaining, “We have produced miracles before and we can do the same again. Last time when we were in this position we managed to qualify and it was amazing.”
The boss went on to highlight his faith in Gerrard stating, “If anyone can do it, Gerrard can. But the whole team believe it is possible.”
A spokesman from Sky Bet explained, “Liverpool fans are having a torrid time so far his season so we have decided to give them a second crack of the whip by transferring their Champions League outright bets on the Reds to the Europa League, where Liverpool have a great chance of winning some silverware.”
