Sky Bet’s first Soccer Saturday’s Super 6 competition

5th January, 2010

Boxing Day was the perfect end to a year for Jonathan Kilpatrick in West Lothian as he got his hands on a massive £100,000!

Kilpatrick is the first ever winner of Sky Bet’s Soccer Saturday’s Super 6 competition and won the jackpot by predicting the correct score of all 6 matches. The jackpot winner was not alone on Boxing Day as Mark McCann from Lanarkshire also managed to get maximum points but did not predict the correct ‘Golden Goal’ correctly which meant that Kilpatrick was able to walk away with the money.

No one has won this before so it is astonishing that two people qualified on the same day, but the 20 year old who managed to steal the win explained, “I’m extremely shocked but one thing’s for sure, Marouane Fellaini is my new favourite player in the Premier League!” Fellaini scored in the 85th minute making the final score 1-1 draw with Sunderland which gave Kilpatrick his 6th correct score!

A spokesman from Sky Bet explained, “It’s fantastic that after 18 months and lots of near misses, we finally have a Super 6 jackpot winner. For young Jonathan Kilpatrick, this is surely the best Christmas present anyone could ever wish for!”

If you want to get your hands on £100,000 then why not have a go yourself? Soccer Saturday’s Super 6 is free to enter and is on once a week, all you have to do is guess the correct scores for the six selected matches!

If you want to be in with a chance then visit Sky Bet today and see what else they have on offer for you!
