According to sky bet, the premier league title race this season looks as though it could go down to the wire with Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal being covered by three points with seven matches left to play.

The online bookmaker is offering a host of football betting markets ahead of the weekend’s action which includes 7/2 for the title to be decided on goal difference. They offer odds of 3/1 that the title is won by 1 point, 7/2 by two points, 7/2 by three points and 3/1 that they’ll win by four or more points.

Manchester United is one point clear at the top of the table and will be travelling to the Reebok Stadium to tackle Bolton on Saturday for which they are backed at 3/1 to remain at the top of the board.

Chelsea is to host Aston Villa and are backed at 5/2 to be at the top of the league on Saturday. Arsenal is playing Birmingham and is priced at 6/1 to be at the top.

Odds are available at 9/4 that any of the top three teams lose their matches on Saturday. Its 7/4 that Chelsea are the biggest scorers followed by Arsenal at 7/4 and Man Utd at 15/8.

Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “The title is United’s to lose and Sir Alex Ferguson will be confident that his team can overcome Bolton and keep up the pressure on both Chelsea and Arsenal but with seven games left we can expect many more twists before the season ends.
