When will the next General Election be? (ladbrokes)

Our thoughts:
Labour are losing popularity during the current recession. The conservatives seem to be gaining in popularity and seem likely to win the next General Election.
Some economists predict that the economic climate will improve in 2010. If this is the case, Labour won't be calling for any General Elections anytime soon- Labour will hope to be the party that helped Britain out of the recession, thereby gaining political strength and credibility. The next General Election will almost certainly not be this year.
