Online betting odds for X-Factor 2009

14th September, 2009

This Saturday’s showing of the X-Factor is the penultimate episode before the contestants hit boot camp. Although there has been a clear favourite from week 1, Danyl Johnson, it seems that week 4 has presented him with some competition for the forth coming boot camp and it may mean that the pressure is on for him to make it through to the final stage.

Two names really stood out this weekend and have gone straight to the top of the X-Factor betting odds. Olly Murs stole the show on Saturday night as the Essex boy put on a great performance. Even after judge Simon Cowell commented that it was the easiest ‘yes’ he had ever given, bookies have still put him at a very reasonable price of 15/2 available with Totesport, looks like it could be a very profitable bet!

Another contestant that wowed the judges was Shana Goodhead who appeared to surprise the panel with a beautiful voice once she started singing. Although she did not make as bigger as impression as Olly Murs, bookies are confident none the less and Bet365 and Ladbrokes are backing her at 14/1 to win the show.

Ahead of all other singers, Danyl Jonhson continues to lead the way and is backed at just 4/1 to win the show already with SkyBet. Other names that have caught the bookies attentions from previous shows and that are still being backed well include, Lucie Jones at 6/1 with Boylesports and Jamie Archer at 9/1 with Paddy Power.
