This weekend saw Louis Walsh make his crucial decision of which groups to take through to the final and with him more determined than ever to beat rival judge Simon Cowell, it was essential that he picked the right group. With the help of Ronan Keating, the judges decided take Miss Frank, Kandy Rain and the Grimes Twins to the live finals with him.
Despite Louis being confident about his decision, it looks as though bookies are not quite so sure and have in fact made Kandy Rain and the twins, the most likely contestants to be eliminated from the competition in the first round of the live finals.
With regards to betting on a group just within the category itself, Miss Frank are strong favourites and are priced at 22/1 with Blue Square, even though they met on the show and were formed by the judges. Both Kandy Rain and the twins are outsiders being backed at joint second priced at 66/1 with Sportingbet.
Unfortunately for Louis’s category, bookies are offering better odds for which group is going to get the boot first and it seems that the two acts most likely to go first are both in his group. Rain look the most popular to go on the first night of the finals at 15/8 with Boylesports, followed by the twins at 2/1 with Totepsort.
