Online betting odds for Portsmouth continue to lengthen
2nd October, 2009
After having an extremely bad start to the season, it looked as though things couldn’t get much worse for Pompey, but bookies just continue to lengthen their odds of winning and instead are shortening their odds of setting a new record low Premiership points tally with Ladbrokes backing them at 25/1.
A football odds specialist from Ladbrokes explained, “Things continue to go from bad to worse for Pompey. It promises to be a long hard season for the basement boys”.
Portsmouth are priced at 16/1 to win a top flight game with Ladbrokes and are 6/1 to continue their losing streak, which will see them not win a single game before the New Year.
The next team that looks likely to be relegated behind the sea side team are Hull who is priced at 4/9 with Ladbrokes as well as Burnely backed at 11/10.
For more odds on Portsmouth, or to see how the more successful teams are doing such as Manchester United who are 2/9 to win Monday night, then visit Ladbrokes and get yourself £10 on your first bet!
