Online betting makes Joe McElderry the winner of X-Factor 2009

7th December, 2009

Last night saw former favourite Danyl Johnson eliminated from the show meaning that Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Joe McElderry were the lucky three to make it into the finals which takes place next weekend.

It seems that after this weekend’s results and with an outstanding performance from Joe McElderry, bookies are pricing him as favourite to be crowned the winner of X-Factor 2009.

Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon are similarly priced but do not seem to be in with a chance of winning the show, although the once favourite Olly Murs does remain to have a strong and positive support from fans which may help edge him nearer to Joe.

It seems that bookies and fans alike believe that Joe McElderry will be crowned the winner of X-Factor 2009 and it appears that there is very little that anyone can do to get in the way of him building his dreams. A spokesman from Ladbrokes explained, “Joe looks unstoppable. It’s difficult to see who can stop him.”

Although Joe looks set for the outright winning market, if you would like to consider who is next in line, the best bookies to go with would be Ladbrokes who is offering Joe to win at 2/5 favourite followed by Stacey priced at 6/4 and Olly Murs priced at the 5/1 outsider.

For more odd on the X-Factor winner, including a price of 6/1 that the winner will have a Christmas number one single, then please visit Ladbrokes and get your hands on a FREE £10 bet!
