News has just been released that Man City are almost certain to sign Lescott

After intense speculation about whether or not Joleon Lescott will move from his current club, Everton, in this summer’s transfer window it has been revealed this morning that he has handed in a transfer request meaning the bookies have gone crazy and all the odds are rapidly changing.
It seems that punters were once betting everything on Lescott starting the season with hthe team he is currently at, but since the weekend everything has changed and now the money is in favour of him being signed by Man City by the time the transfer window closes. SkyBet are offering odds of 1/3 that Lescott will join Man City, with odds as long as 9/4 that Everton will keep hold of him.
If all falls through with Man City then Arsenal are still in with a chance to jump in for the player if the time is right with odds of 33/1.
