I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here have gained excessive exposure and the show is proving to be a very successful this year. With Ant and Dec presenting and entertaining the public, the celebs are also playing their roles adequately with lots of tears and tantrums!
In just over a week that they have been in the jungle, we have seen them squirm, argue, flirt and laugh with Katie Price quitting the show and ex-Eastenders star Lucy Benjamin being the first to go followed by TV makeover star Colin McAllister who has been parted from loved one Justin Ryan last night. It seems that the camp is slowly shrinking!
As the number of camp mates drops dramatically there are several rumours escalating as to what ITV plans to do next. Bookies have firstly turned their attention to the latest duo eliminated from the X-Factor, John and Edward. Louis has revealed that since they have left the show everyone has wanted to get their hands on the pair for all sorts of reasons including presenting, modelling and acting to name a few, so it seems that ITV might be included in the hustle and bustle of trying to be the first to take them a step further in their career. Irish bookies Paddy Power believe that the twins will be the next to enter the jungle and are backed at 8/1 to win the show if they do go in!
Since Katie Price’s exit, producers from the show have demanded that they replace the ex glamour model with a suitably matched celebrity who will help maintain the extortionate viewing figures that she bought in, and it is thought that the twins would do just that! Although there are a lot of restrictions for the twins as they are still trapped in their X-Factor contract, if there is any way they can resolve this then they would be in for a staggering £100,000 each to appear on the show!
A spokesman from Paddy Power explained, “Jedward weren’t even on our radar to enter the jungle as we were convinced Simon Cowell would have the lads under a strict contract but as the saying goes there’s usually no smoke without fire – landing Jedward would be a massive coup for the popular show and viewing figures would surely go through the roof!”
There are several more names that are speculating with bookies including Peter Andre to enter the jungle priced at 3/1, rival Jodie Marsh to enter at 8/1 and Kerry Katona is priced at 6/1 to make her second appearance.
