Mid Week Champions League Betting

After yet another round of thrilling Premier League matches, the Champions league returns mid week, as the football fixtures begin to build up. In perhaps the game of the weekend, Arsenal lost to newly promoted side Hull. The Gunners, at home, were beaten 2-1 in one of the most shocking results the league has seen in years.
Bookies will be pleased with the result as few would have bet on Hull beating the one of the finest teams in the League. Elsewhere, United beat Bolton 2-0 at Old Trafford, as they began to show the form which helped win them the league last season. Ronaldo returned to the starting line up and instantly had a major effect on the game.
He won a controversial penalty which he fired home to mark his first league goal, as well as combining well with Rooney to setup the English striker for the second.
Chelsea brushed as side Stoke City in a 2-0 win and Liverpool beat Merseyside rivals Everton 2-0 with Torres returning to form, scoring both.
Tuesday 30th September
Arsenal will be looking to radically improve when taking on FC Porto tomorrow after losing at home to Hull. The Gunners, who are at home are priced at 1/2 with Bet365 to beat the Portuguese side. Theo Wallcott is 8/1 with Ladbrokes to score first.
United face Aalborg BK away in Denmark. The fixture should be an easy win for the competitions reining champions, however the Danish side promise to be tough opposition for Sir Alex's reds.
Wednesday 1st October
Liverpool host dutch side PSV Eindhoven in a difficult fixture for the 5 times winners. However after Torres's impressive performance against Everton they will be brimming with confidence. Benitez's side are priced at 2/5 with Betfred and are strong favourites. PSV are priced at 8/1 with Coral.
Chelsea travel to CFR Cluj in Romania in a game they should dominate. However the home crowd will be hostile and difficult to break down. Chelsea are playing well at the moment and should brush a side CFR. Drogba has nearly returned to full fitness and will be suited to a physical game which is what Chelsea should expect on Wednesday.
The home side are priced at 8/1 with bet chronicle to beat Scolari's side, with is team 4/9 with Bet 365 to collect three points.
