Manchester United has now acquired two of a possible five trophies this season. After winning on penalties against Tottenham in the Carling Cup, United are still on for a record haul of five trophies in a single season.

This comes as little surprise with most bookmakers believing the outcome of the Barclays Premiership is already decided.
United are now a full 7 points clear of second place Chelsea with a game in hand, and face Newcastle United next.
According to United Coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, United will have a tough game at Newcastle tomorrow and will have to stay focused in order to keep ahead in the League.
Ferguson also played down the hype surrounding an unprecedented quintuple saying "I'm not getting carried away with it, only the media will. We will keep our feet on the ground. We could go to Fulham in the FA Cup, the ball comes off someone's backside and we are out of that one."
