Liverpool’s odds lengthen after last night’s game
30th September, 2009
Although last night’s game between Liverpool and Fiorentina was predicted to be a close match, there was a lot of hope that Liverpool would pull out all of the stops and show what they are capable of, but after an unsuccessful game which saw them loose 2-0, their chances of winning the title are slowly drifting away.
The defeat has caused bookies to lengthen their odds of winning the Champions League with Ladbrokes now offering 10/1 from 9/1. Despite this, Liverpool is still 2/1 to qualify for the knock out stages and 5/2 not too.
Other betting from Ladbrokes includes, Barcelona at 7/2, Chelsea at 5/1, Manchester United at 5/1, Arsenal at 9/1 to win the trophy and Rangers with much longer odds at 200/1 to win the competition.
