This year’s Strictly Come Dancing seems to be getting very exciting and despite the viewing figures not quite reaching the heights of this year’s X-Factor show, which is aired at the same time, the show is very much underway and has had a better start to previous years.

Bookies had released odds on who they thought would dance their way to the final but it seems that since the start the odds have been turned upside down. Former favourite Joe Calzaghe is now being backed as an outsider after a dance that saw him struggle and the chance of an easy win crushed.

It seems that now the one to beat it Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle who stunned the judges and audience with an impressive dance and can now be backed at 5/2 with Stan James. Another one to watch is actress Ali Bastain who has had her odds slashed from 12/1 to 11/4 with VC Bet after a fantastic debut dance.

Joe Calzaghe disappointed the crowd on Saturday night with his ‘passionless’ dancing with partner Kristina Rihanoff, forcing bookies to lengthen his odds from 3/1 to 33/1 with Betfred. It seems that the once favourite has a lot of rehearsing if he wants to have a chance again in the competition.

Former jockey Richard Dunwoody has always been an outsider and in an attempt to impress on Saturday night, he seemed to fail with bookies making him favourite to go and he can be backed at 15/8 to go. Second favourite to get the boot is Jo Wood with Betfred at 7/2.

It seems that this year is going to be a very eventful series and it looks as though the dancers will be keeping the bookies on their toes! For more odds click here to visit Bet365, alternately why not visit Gaming Alerts site review page of Paddy Power to see what other odds they have available.
