Joe Hart to start in the World Cup 2010

31st December, 2009

Joe Hart has had an incredibly impressive season and it looks as though he will definitely be starting for England in their first game in the World Cup 2010. Hart is backed with very short odds of 8/13 with Bet 365 that Fabio Capello will pick him for the 2010 squad.

Hart has been on loan to Birmingham from Machester City all season and has been able to keep eight clean sheets for the Blues and after his performance on Monday, has had his odds slashed from 8/1 to 3/1 to start against USA in the World Cup 2010.

A spokesman from Sky Bet explained, “With no stand-out contender for the England number one position at present, in-form Hart must have every chance of making Capello’s squad and even of starting the first match in Rustenburg.”

Other World Cup betting specials include, any England player to score a hat trick priced at 7/2 with Blue Square and England to be knocked out on penalties at 6/1.
