German Grand Prix 2008 - Betting Preview

Lewis Hamilton provided British motor sport fans with a impressive display of skill, nerve and determination, after winning the Silverstone Grand Prix. The F1 championship tour will now travel back to main land Europe to race at the Hockenheim track in Germany. Hamilton will look to repeat the success of Silverstone and storm into the lead of the drivers championship. The Ferrari team will be be looking to restore some pride after Räikkönen finished second at Silverstone and Massa 13th.
The German Grand Prix will be a completely different affair with and both Mclaren and Ferrari desperate for wins. Hamilton's Mclaren car looks in great shap and he is confident and excited about the race. "It’s actually quite a straightforward circuit to get into, and it helps that our car just feels so awesome at the moment. There’s a bit of everything around here and it’s quite fun to throw the car into some of the high-speed corners, like Turn One and Turn 12 - the high-speed right-hander into the stadium section" said the 22 year old.
The two Ferrari's will be looking to repeat the success of the last time they raced there, by finishing 1st and 2nd.
Betting Preview
Hamilton, at a decent 2/1 with Bet 365, will be racing a F1 car for the first time at Hockenheim, but has experience of the track from racing F3 cars there.
Räikkönen, at 6/4 with Betfred , has never won at Hockenhiem but beleives his car will "be at its max". The Finnish driver also said, "Our car goes really well at high temperatures and also the tyre-wear is not too high. So I really hope its hot"
Teammate, Felipe Massa, is also in with a shout and priced at 5/2 with Skybet. Massa had a tough time at Silverstone but will most definitely be challenging at the front
Outsider, Kovalainen, is held at an excellent 16/1 with Betfair to take 1st position, but will struggle with the pace of Hamilton, Räikkönen and Massa. If he qualifies on the front row anything is possible!
