Gary McAllister is set to manage a Premier League team

Gary McAllister has had a busy week this week and has turned down two work offers, one with Portsmouth and one with Burley. The former Leeds manager was sacked in December 2008, but has had intense experience with Coventry and it looks as though his next job could land him managing a team in the Championship.
After turning down the job with Portsmouth, bookies are offering odds of where he will next move to and Sky Bet makes him 6/1 to take up a managerial role at a Premier League side.
Other bets available with Sky Bet are 6/1 that McAllister lands himself a job in League One and 12/1 with League Two or a Scottish club at 7/2.
