Sports betting tips for weekend of 16th and 17th February.
Cup fever
Football
Man Utd v Arsenal is the tie of the 5th round of the FA Cup and the BBC can expect a massive audience for the 5.15pm kick off on Saturday. United will be keen to put behind them the disappointment of losing to Man City in last weekend's derby match but the visitors arrive at Old Trafford in top form and full of confidence. The draw is available at 9-4 and that looks the best way for neutrals to get involved in a game which is sure to be played at a feverish tempo.
Liverpool had the fright of their lives when non-league Havant and Waterlooville led twice at Anfield in the last round. The Reds played pretty well at Chelsea last Sunday and they will be in no mood to show any generosity to Barnsley. Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's power often proves too much for inferior opposition and he is well worth backing to get on the scoresheet.
Coventry have done really well in the Cups this season and they are taken to see off West Brom who have not been at their best lately, especially away from home.
Chelsea should have too much quality for League One outfit Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge.
Cardiff and Wolves are having similar seasons and sit just outside the play-off places in the Championship and their encounter could easily end up in stalemate.
Southampton are favourites for their game at Bristol Rovers but the Saints are not firing on all cylinders at present and the home team are the value bet.
Sheffield Utd did well to knock out Man City in the last round and many will expect them to do the same to Middlesbro on Sunday. However, Boro, who have been very steady recently and are unbeaten in their last seven, can nick this and 1-0 to the away side is suggested for a correct score bet.
Portsmouth continue to get good results on the road and they can end Preston North End's interest in the competition in the other Sunday game.

Following the shock victory of Shiv Shankar Prasad Chowrasia at 150-1 in last week's Emaar-MGF Indian Masters, bets on this week's European Tour event, the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open, should be kept modest as it looks even more difficult to predict.
At just 6,899 yards the par 70 course will suit accurate players and the likes of the tidy Aussie pro Scott Henson, the promising young Englishman Oliver Fisher and Chapchai Nirat, who was runner-up in last year's Asian Tour Order Of Merit, could all go well.
Another Australian worth supporting this weekend is Adam Scott in the Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club in California. Scott had a disappointing 2007 but he has been working hard on his game during the winter and the payoff came when he posted a 61 final round to win the Qatar Masters Last month. Scott won this week's event in 2005 and was second in 2006 when it was known as the Nissan Open.
Rory Sabbatini has been knocking on the door recently with a couple of top three finishes and the South African is worth backing to go well again. Keeping the international theme going at Pacific Palisades, Ireland's Padraig Harrington looked to be running into form when showing up well in the FBR Open last week and the Open champion completes the staking plan.
