FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw
18th February, 2008
Barnsley have been rewarded for their brave FA Cup upset at Liverpool by being drawn at home to face holders Chelsea in the quarter-finals. They will hope to reproduce some of the spirit that saw them pull off an impressive 2-1 victory at Anfield to make it through to the semi-finals, but will expect to face a strong Chelsea side.
The only all-premier League tie sees Manchester United host Portsmouth, where the visitors should push the champions all the way despite the 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal in the previous round.
Elsewhere, League One side Bristol Rovers will play at home against West Brom, and Cardiff City will travel to the winner of the Sheffield United or Middlesbrough replay.
Chelsea and Manchester United remain favourites to win the FA Cup, both at around 11/8 with Bet 365.
Ties are to be played on the weekend of 8 and 9 March.
