Peter Crouch certainly staked his claim for a place on the aeroplane to South Africa last night by scoring against Egypt. Sky Bet is now backing him at 13/8 to start up front alongside Wayne Rooney in England’s opening match on June 12th against the USA.

It’s also possible to bet on England’s midfield line-up against the states and Sky Bet go 10/3 that it includes Gareth Barry, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Aaron Lennon.
