England vs Germany Betting Preview

18th November, 2008

England take on Germany tomorrow evening in Berlin, and there's plenty of fantastic betting odds to interest punters! England will be looking to repeat the 5-1 drumming they gave to their rivals 7 years ago when Micheal Owen, Emile Heskey, Steven Gerrard got on the score sheet.

The game will no doubt be a fascinating encounter and England look to carry on their good form after winning all of their World Cup Qualifiers. Germany were impressive in during the summer reaching the final but losing out to Spain.

Midfielders Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard are both out with injuries and Cappello's team are 13/5 to leave Berlin with the win. Germany are therefore the favourites priced at 11/10 with Bet356.

To find better odds punters will be looking to place wagers in the first goal scorer and correct score markets. Experienced German forward, Klose is favourite to open the scoring, priced at 6/1 with Paddy Power.

Strike partner Podolski, is second favourite priced at 7/1 with Boylesports. Peter Crouch is 9/1 with the Coral to net first and Portsmouth Striker Jermain Defoe is priced at 9/1 with the Coral.
