England vs France in the 6 Nations
11th March, 2009
Some say when teams play in the Six Nations, they don’t only play the opposing team, they play the opposing nation.
The fans are just as passionate about the game as the players and will be willing their team to victory every step of the way.
This weekend the Six Nations competition returns and will see, Ireland make the trip to Murray Field and Wales travel to Rome on Saturday, while England welcome France to Twickenham on Sunday.
England fans will hope that during the fortnights break, the discipline problems that have dogged performances will have been addressed. The frustration of 10 sin-bins in 4 games was evident in Martin Johnson’s post match interview 2 weeks ago, with him barely able to speak.
England go into the game as underdogs and will need to win this game to prevent slipping further in the world rankings.
Currently in 4th place in the competition they have little chance of managing to win the Six Nations and are now looking to finish well.
Ladbrokes Sky Bet, and Paddy Power all have England at 11/10 underdogs while France are 8/11 favourites.
Bet365 Half time - Full Time Odds:
