England Cricket Odds for the 5th Test
5th March, 2009
Tomorrow is England’s final test match in the West Indies and the team’s last chance to save the series.
Although England commanded play in the 1st innings of the 4th test, the tourists soon found themselves struggling and overshadowed by an impressive West Indian performance.
England now finds itself 1-0 down in tests which mean they must win the final test in Trinidad.
Once more, England will go into the test as favourite to win. However, favourable odds at this stage will be of little comfort to England supporters.
The West Indies, on the other hand, continue to grow in confidence and only require a draw in the last test to win the series.
So far in the series there have been 2 draws, 1 West Indian win and 1 abandoned game. This cricket tour has not been without its controversy.
Although England preformed well after their first test defeat, the tourists have not managed to get the win they so badly seek.
With the 5th test starting tomorrow, players and supporters alike will hope the win they have been desperately waiting for comes in Trinidad.
At Bet 365, England are favourite to win with odds of 15/8 with the West Indies 3/1 to win.
