Cheltenham Open Paddy Power Gold Cup Betting and Weekend Preview
15th November, 2007
The Cheltenham Open Meeting kicks off tomorrow (Friday), the first major horse racing meeting of the National Hunt season. The highlight of the three-day event is the Paddy Power Cold Cup on the Saturday. The favourite, Don’t Push It, has today been ruled out after being found to be lame after working on Wednesday. The two other main contenders, Granit Jack and Abragante are also doubtful for the big race as they may not make the cut.
As sponsor of the main event, Paddy Power is running a great special for the whole weekend’s racing, offering full refunds on all losing stakes on every race if your selection falls, unseats or gets brought down. Click here to put your bets on for the weekend.
