Cheltenham Festival Odds with Paddy Power
12th March, 2009
The Irish bookmaker Paddy Power took another hit yesterday as customers enjoyed a flurry of wins.
After having to pay a lucky lady from Cork, £131,120 Tuesday who put a €6 each way bet, Paddy Power had another bad day yesterday.
Several Festival favourites winning added to the bookmaker’s troubles, including Willie Mullins Irish favourite ‘Cooldine’ and super hot favourite, Master Minded. Punters were delighted at the results with many not believing their luck.
Paddy Power were quoted saying, “Suffice to say Willie Mullins is off our Christmas card list. This afternoon ‘Cooldine’ finished off what ‘Quevega’ started yesterday. We've been well and truly gelded by the Carlow man.”
Today’s big race is the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at 15.20
Paddy Power’s best odds are:
